Alicia Witt was a musician from her earliest onscreen days although she's more known as an actor, singer, songwriter or pianist. As a professional pianist her first EP in the year 2009, featuring her vocals that were strong and beautiful. Revisionary History was her first studio album. The album was co-produced by Ben Folds. The Conduit, her debut release as co-producer in 2021 is followed in 2021 by the album Revisionary history. Alicia Witt appeared in the 1984 David Lynch adaptation of Frank Herbert's Dune as Alia Atreides. Even though she was just ten at the time and it's not surprising that she was labeled as being an actor but not a singer, in spite of playing piano from the time her first acting experience. Though she appeared more on screen than she was on stage, her professional career as a musician didn't start until the year 1995.
